…hosted a conversation about welcoming immigrants.  WSCA’s Radio Gazette invited Dr. Susan Craig, an educator, and me, a writer. We had both worked in Portland, Maine.  Susan directed a program to train educators to work with students from all over the world,  and I taught at the Salt Institute, working with students who were collecting oral histories.  Susan and I talked about her work and my coming to write The Good Braider.   Listen to the conversation first broadcast on WSCA, Portsmouth Community Radio, 106.1 FM in May, 2012.
