NPR Story Describes Growth of South Sudan’s Schools

On this day when the world population reaches 7 billion, NPR reporter Frank Langfitt is in Akobo County,  South Sudan. In his audio story he meets the county commissioner  of Akobo who describes the area’s school. He says there are so many children, the class size is 200 – 300. “Some don’t fit in the classroom. They sit under the tree.” Listen.
